Scholarship Application Guidelines

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a volunteer, serving on a committee or employed by a  credit union.
2. The credit union or chapter must be affiliated with their State League at the time of scholarship application submission or the award will automatically be forfeited.
3. Recipient must use the scholarship during the year it is awarded and for the purpose stated on the application.
4. The proposal cannot involve a liability to the TCUF Foundation beyond the amount of the scholarship.

Process

1. Complete and submit a SCMS Scholarship Application by the deadline date prior to enrollment.
2. A credit union's most recent CAMEL ratios report is used in scholarship consideration.   If not available the scholarship committee will contact the credit union for the current monthly financial report.
3. Approval/denial of applications will be communicated with applicants within one week of SCMS Scholarship Committee meeting.

Instruction for Submission of Scholarship Applications

1. Submit only one scholarship application copy.
2. SCMS scholarship application must be submitted by the deadline: Friday, April 16, 2010.  Enrollment is now open for the 2010 school term.  Please visit the official SCMS website for more information -
