National Credit Union Youth Week & Youth Savings Challenge

CUNA is keeping their tradition of empowering credit unions and their members during the month, both by bringing “Get In the Savigns Game” materials to National Credit Union Youth Week from April 18-24 and by implementing the National Youth Savings Challenge.  CUNA will provide you with ready-to-use items to help you promote your celebration simply and effectively to several age groups.

The National Youth Savings Challenge assists both credit unions and young potential members by helping both parties realize their goals, while promoting the credit union difference.  Last year nearly 140,000 young members deposited $26.5 million into their saving accounts during this national event—with 10,006 of these new accounts.  As of February, three credit unions in Texas have signed up to participate in the savings challenge, with the hopes of many more joining soon; AMOCO FCU, Wichita Falls Teachers FCU, and America's Credit Union.

TCUF encourages participating credit unions to share their success stories and outstanding results throughout the month, and to get started today!  To “Make The Difference” today and read up on the other exciting services TCUF is offering, please click on the “Make The Difference” tab on the financial education home page or contact Courtney Nickles at 469-385-6448 or cnickles@tcul.coop.
