Credit Unions Supporting Financial Education

Please let us know how your credit union or organization is supporting and advocating financial education in your community.  The Texas Credit Union Foundation has been compiling a database of financial literacy projects and programs throughout the state of Texas as a valuable resource for credit unions, legislators, teachers, etc.

Just simply fill out the attached form or use the on-line form link and give us a brief description of your projects/programs:

  • Overview of project/program
  • Who do you reach in your community with your project/program?
  • What age group(s) do you reach with your project/program?
  • How many individuals benefit from this project/program each year?
  • Is this an ongoing project?
  • Is this employee or volunteer driven?

Click on the best practices link to see how your fellow credit unions and/or community partners are supporting financial education in your area!

Please e-mail or fax this information to Courtney Nickles, cnickles@tcul.coop or Staci Zale, szale@tcul.coop or fax (469) 385-6545.  Feel free to contact us directly at (800) 953-8283 for questions.

Thank you for helping the Texas Credit Union Foundation to improve the financial well being of Texans and ensuring that all Texans are financially independent!
