The Texas Credit Union Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to progressive professional development of credit union staff and volunteers, financial education programs for youth and adults, and creating valuable resources for Texas credit unions and the communities they serve.

Who We Are
The Texas Credit Union Foundation (TCUF) is a 501(c)(3) public charitable foundation that represents the Texas credit union movement. 

What We Do
The Texas Credit Union Foundation is active in and dedicated to:

• Promoting financial education initiatives that benefit credit union members, volunteers, Texas students and the public at large in Texas communities;
• Providing scholarships and grants to assist credit union employees with the training they need to achieve professional excellence;
• Offering financial relief for credit union staff and volunteers when disaster strikes;
• Helping credit unions achieve their own community relations objectives through support for local partnerships;
• Careful scrutiny by committed, experienced credit union leaders that comprise the TCUF Board of Trustees;
• Providing tangible results that advance public awareness, legislative issues, and the “people helping people” philosophy of Texas credit unions.

How We Achieve Our Mission
The Texas Credit Union Foundation receives financial support from credit unions, corporate partners, individuals, the Texas Credit Union League, TCUF Endowment Fund and grants from other foundations.  Guided by the TCUF Board of Trustees and executive management oversight, we provide grants and scholarships to individuals, programs and non-profit organizations that fit within one or more of the above criteria.
